What is going on in the art world today?

I just dont understand it....Does everything have to be about sex or the shock value these days. When is it going to get old?!... Show me something new!...Does anyone have an eye for classic beauty anymore? Lets try and be original shall we. not that Im entirely innocent in the matter, but come on....If everyone else is doing it.. is it really that shocking...and I get it sex sells!... Let the work speak for itself...dont force it. It takes more work and time...but my god in the end it will be worth it. So to all my fellow artists....take your time its not art if there is no heART!

Im so sorry I have not been on-line for so long......It has been a very difficult year for me!.......My husband and I were blessed on 08/09/08 with another beautiful baby girl who is now in a better place. Monica Michelle will forever be in our hearts. Sorry for the sad note, But Im back and hopefully I can find some creativity in my soul again soon!
